As part of its ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the continuation of the "Indonesia Mengajar" program, PT. JGC Indonesia has undertaken the renovation of the School Health Unit (UKS) at MIS Al-Anwar a few months ago, located in Cilandak Barat, behind the JGC office building. This CSR initiative aims to provide a healthier and more comfortable environment for students in their daily school activities.
The renovation of the UKS involved not only improving the physical condition of the room but also redesigning it to make it more functional and comfortable. PT. JGC Indonesia provided new equipment, including two patient beds, a wheelchair, first aid kits, an oxygen tank, hospital curtains, and other supporting items such as a blood pressure monitor, thermometer, height gauge, blankets, and cold compresses. These facilities are expected to enhance the school's healthcare services and better support the health of the students.
Representing PT. JGC Indonesia at the event were Mr. Wahyu Hastono, Corporate Administration Division Manager, and Ms. Indri Firna, CSR Coordinator staff, who both played key roles in the successful completion of the renovation. During the symbolic handover of the new UKS, the Principal of SD MIS Al-Anwar, Mr. Husin, expressed his deep gratitude. He noted that the upgraded facility will contribute to promoting better hygiene and healthier living habits among the students.
Through this initiative, PT. JGC Indonesia reaffirms its commitment to supporting programs that focus not only on education but also on health, as part of its efforts to nurture a smarter and healthier future generation.
