The Akatara Gas Processing Facility (AGPF) is a significant project undertaken by Jadestone Energy in Indonesia with assisted by JGC Indonesia as the contractor. The facility is designed to process gas from the Akatara field, with a daily contract quantity of 20 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) under the gas sales agreement.
In December 2024, the AGPF successfully completed a 72-hour performance test at full production rates, validating its operational capabilities. During this test, sales production averaged approximately 6,600 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d), comprising roughly 50% sales gas and 50% condensate and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
The Akatara project has also achieved a remarkable safety milestone, with approximately 7.7 million manhours worked without a lost-time incident.
