PT JGC Indonesia held a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in the JGC Indonesia Teaching program with the title "Share Knowledge of EPC Contractor" at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

This program is a manifestation of PT JGC Indonesia's commitment to sharing industry knowledge and experience with the younger generation, especially in the field of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC). This event was attended by around 100 students from the Faculty of Engineering, especially from the Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering departments.

In this event in the form of an open class, professionals from PT JGC Indonesia shared practical experience and knowledge related to the work process in the field of EPC, from planning to project implementation.

Some of the representatives from PT JGC Indonesia who attended were Mr. Haryo Setyo as QHSSE Manager, Mr. Wahyu Himawan as Design Engineering Division Manager, Mr. Adhi Sumarhadi as Corporate Project Administration Manager, and Mrs. Indri Firna Djamal as CSR Coordinator.

With the theme "An EPC Contractor's Insight," the program aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the EPC industry, the challenges it faces, as well as the skills needed to succeed in this field.

This program provides students with the opportunity to learn directly from experts who are experienced in handling major projects in Indonesia and internationally.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram, Ir. Muhammad Syamsu Iqbal, ST, MT, Ph.D, stated that this activity is very beneficial for students who will enter the world of work.

"We hope that this program can provide valuable insights and motivate students to be more ready to enter the world of work, especially in the EPC industry," said Ir. Muhammad Syamsu Iqbal, ST, MT, Ph.D in his speech.
